Our Lux-Air 36-inch chamber uses a wide J-style door with both side and top entry to make getting in and out easier than a traditional tubular chamber, which is especially helpful for anyone with joint replacements, limited kneeling ability, or balance concerns. A 16-inch elevation platform is included and can also raise the chamber to simulate the height of stepping in from a bed.

Chamber capsule, 16-inch elevation platform, 10 LPM oxygen concentrator, comfort mattress, interior metal frame, dehumidifier, negative ionization system, and a muffler to reduce operating noise. Window welds use penta-welding technology that embeds the double-thick window 1.4 inches into the fabric, compared to a 1/2-inch seam weld on some other chambers, which is a meaningful difference for how well a window holds up at full pressure over time. Seams are triple and penta heat-welded with no toxic glues used, and the J-shape two-zipper system includes a center flap plus an outer protective cover to reduce stress and leakage at the zipper. A hidden interior frame supports the chamber’s shape before it inflates, so it doesn’t collapse in on itself while filling.

A quiet compressor delivers 70 to 110 LPM of airflow, paired with activated filtration designed to remove fine contaminants so the air entering the chamber stays clean. The standard dehumidifier and air cooler can lower air temperature by roughly 4 degrees during sessions; a separate dual-action air conditioning upgrade is available for a stronger cooling effect, combining compressor-air cooling with a water-cooled interior loop.

The J-style door opens from the side or top, and the included 16-inch elevation platform can raise the chamber to a height closer to a bed, so there’s no need to step down and climb into a low tube.

Pressurization builds gradually rather than all at once, giving users time to equalize ear pressure the same way they would on a flight, by swallowing, yawning, or gently pinching the nose and exhaling. Following the included setup and operating instructions for your specific pressure and session-length settings matters, since exceeding the recommended session parameters isn’t advised. New users typically find the first few sessions are a good time to get familiar with equalizing and with the chamber’s controls before settling into a regular routine.
